(1943-2021) Joe passed away March 7, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. A brighter star will shine above us. Beloved father of Stephen (Kelly). He will be missed by his loving sister Ann Marie Askew. Kendra, Forrest, Jase and Yael always enjoyed Uncle Joe's sense of humour and will cherish his memory. A special person came into Joe's life and brought sunshine into those "golden years." Jean and Joe truly enjoyed going for a drive in Joe's 39 Chev and listening to that good old rock and roll. Jean was by his side to do whatever she could to make him comfortable during his illness. We are sure God has a motorcycle and a hot rod waiting for Joe. "Now and Beyond Joe and Jean Forever" he would say. Jean's daughter Debbie and son James will fondly remember Joe. For those who knew Joe will agree, he was most happy working in his garage on an old car and turning it into something pretty special. The sound of a Harley was music to his ears. He wanted to be remembered as the "world's oldest teenager." Joe had a big heart and will remain in our hearts forever. Many thanks to family and friends who kept in touch and helped in so many ways. As Joe wished, there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place. To place an online condolence in Joe's memory, please visit www.armstrongfh.ca.
