The first day Clayton and I met in grade 7, we were best friends. We spent countless hours Rollerblading and BMXing around Whitby. I tell my kids the story of when our project got banned from the Whitby Senior Science Fair and we were so happy because that was our objective. In adult life, I would bump into Clayton every so often, it would be brief and at Interesting locations. He would always say something that made you laugh out loud or make you think deeply. Clayton, I´m very saddened by your passing and wish for your spirit to be happy.

My Heart sunk when I heard the news. I played on the Carleton University Hockey team with Clayton.
He was a great guy, a great hockey player. He loved his music. He never ever had the right discs in the correct cases , but sure knew the inspiration behind every lyric in his collection. He was a bright, humorous guy. He for sure will be missed by those who knew what he was all about.

Clayton was a lot of fun to be around. Played some hockey with him, went to school with and hung out away from all that for a bit of time. His smile was great. I will always remember it.
Really caring, genuine and just a really nice guy.
My thoughts go out to the family.
Stillar, you will be missed.

There is a look of Clayton’s I will remember forever. A kind of wry smile, kind of grin. Staring right at me. I was lucky to play some hockey with him, go to school with and hang out with him. Extremely nice, caring and understanding.
Too soon. Will miss you Clayton.

It's hard to know what to say as one grows older and friends lose touch as new families begin. Clayton, you played a great part in my childhood and coming of age. Whether it was playing hockey, skateboarding, guitar or even wrestling in your folks' basement to the brink of a real fight, I love you and will miss you brother. Rest well and take Max for a stroll through the Heavens.
Ted and Lil, my heart goes out to you and all of your friends and family.
Deepest condolences,
Zach Hayden

Clayton was a good friend, and a generous spirit, and my life is truly better for having known him.
You were a good man Clayton, and I will miss you terribly. I wish you could still be here to crack a joke about it all, and put me at ease again. Go with love, and with a smile on your face my brother, the way that I will always remember you.

Clayton was an adventurous spirit - not afraid to make this thing called life memorable in every way he liked. He didn't avoid being honest about himself, what he thought was fun.
Shine on you Stillar diamond - like the stars in the sky.
May your journey be as new an adventure, as the one you shared with us.

Never afraid to brush back a hitter, and always had your back on the ice. A loyal friend who always called it as he saw it. He bounced to his own beat with a sense of humor that we all loved. Had some great memories with you pal. You often showed up out of the blue with a story to tell, and humor to share. Thinking of Ted, Lil, and all those that he touched.

Clayton lived his life to the fullest! He liked to work hard and party hard. He reached out to a lot of people. Clayton, along with D.J. North and myself formed Stillar North Talent in 1999. Clayotn loved helping people, especially artists. He was always quick to spot talent: an amazing guitarist and singer. He was the rock-star of my life. His parents ,Lil and Ted were always there for me. They welomed me into their lives. My hear goes out to them.

Ed & I only met Clayton once at a dinner at Lil and Ted's home a few years ago. We found him a quiet, handsome, pleasant, young man. We cannot imagine the pain they must be going through. Our thoughts are with you both.
