MERRIMAC — Dennis E. Forisso Sr., 61, of Merrimac, died Monday morning, Aug. 18, 2008 at the Hannah Duston Long term Healthcare, Haverhill.
He was born in Haverhill, April 1, 1947, son of the late Robert Forisso and the late John and Mildred (Ellis) McNeil and was educated in the Haverhill school system.
After high school he served in the Marines.
He was employed for several years as an Anodizer for Coastal Metal, Merrimac, and more recently, as an independent contractor for the Boston Globe.
Mr. Forisso enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, woodworking, swimming and cherished time with his family.
His survivors include his wife of 33 years, Katherine (Greely) Forisso of Merrimac; a son, Dennis E. Forisso Jr. of Merrimac; two daughters, Laurie Buchanan of Haverhill, Jessica and her husband Thomas Brown of Merrimac; a brother, Robert Forisso of Haverhill; a sister, Debbie Robinson of Windham, N.H.; four grandchildren, Brandon, Kaittlynn and Connor Forisso, and Dylan Buchanan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Condolences to his family may be made at www.farmerfuneralhomes.com.

We are going to miss him like crazy but i know deep in my heart he is happy now and no longer suffering with Nana Judy, Grampa Woody, and Nana Millie. They're probably eating lobster and hangin out at the beach!
