Resident of Antioch
Hazel passed away peacefully after a long illness with Alzheimer's. She was a dear and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Gallegos, son, Larry Rowe, daughter, Judi Rowe Pitkin (Russ) and Debi Rowe Martinez (John) and step-children, Kathy Gallegos Hayes (Tim), Robert Gallegos and Sue Ann Gallegos Long (Nick).
Hazel was an artist. She had a talent for painting in oils and acrylics and has left many of her works to be enjoyed by her family. Beside her artistic skills she enjoyed golfing with the Antioch Woman's Golf Club, fishing, dancing the night away and traveling with her husband, Bill.
Hazel leaves behind a legacy of love kindness, compassion and wisdom. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
