Nicholas Baran Obituary

Nicholas Michael Baran
Jan. 1, 1939 - Aug. 12, 2012
Resident of Danville
Nicholas Michael Baran entered peacefully into rest on August 12, 2012. He was 73 years of age. Born in Rudawka, Poland on January 1, 1939, he had proudly served in the U.S. Army and Peace Corps where he met and married his beloved wife, Fe Baran. Nicholas was a devoted husband and loved bragging about being a "pops of 3 + 3". He found pleasure and joy in gardening, reading, walking and playing an occasional prank. He will always live in the hearts and memories of his loving wife, Fe Baran, daughters, Johanna (Michael), Nichole (Alberto) and Catalina (Jared). He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Etienne, Chiara, and Marco and many extended family and friends. If you would wish to donate in his memory, please do so to St. Joan of Arc Parish. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:30 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 2601 San Ramon Valley Blvd., San Ramon, CA 94583

Not sure what to say?

Dear Fe & Family,

News travels so slow at our work place. We are so sadden by his sudden passing. Our prayers go out to you and your wonderful family. I had the privilege to work with Nick for many years. During that time he would share wonderful stories about you and your wonder daughters and families. Nick had this shy and sly sense of humor. To get your attention he would lower his voice and whisper.

My dear friend ... Angels have escorted you up to heaven. Your spirit and fond memories will always be in our hearts.
