To Sis. Edwards and Family,

May you find comfort and strength in knowing that Catherine has gone home to be with the Lord. She was definitely working together with God to fulfill His purpose for mankind. She lived such a blessed life ... I will always remember her generous nature and her quiet demeanor. She was such a blessing to both myself and Bev during the time we were preparing for the wedding. Willing to do whatever she could to make it a success and beautiful, she was so full of encouragement. Her love and concern for others will be greatly missed.

Love Always

I met Catherine about nine years ago, and had the pleasure of working with her on a number of special projects at Caltrans.

Catherine was always willing to share of herself with others, always offering assistance when necessary.

Through her eyes and kind words you knew she loved the Lord and in her quite manner she demonstrated his love for her fellow man.

My life is richer in Christian love and understanding because of having met her. Catherine I will truly miss you.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Catherine's family, she was a beautiful Angel. I have known Catherine for 6 years, we both worked in Richmond at the Caltrans office. You can see the Spirit of the Lord in her. She walked with grace and always kept a smile. Every morning when we got to work, I would go to her and we would laugh and talk, she was a good friend and a wonderful listener, and after talking with her, my day would start off right. When she moved to Sacramento, we always kept in contact through e-mail and phone. I will truly miss her, her e-mails and our talks. To the family, I know that the Lord has already comforted you. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, we all know Catherine is sitting in front of the throne of God, praising, dancing & worshipping Him. I will keep you in my prayers and pray for your strength. God Bless You!

Edwards Family: We send condolences and prayers your way for the lost of your love one. Though she is absent in body, she is now present with the Lord. I will miss her greatly, I have known her for over 35 yrs. she was a very sweet person, I hope to see her again on the other side. According to scripture, we are to rejoice at the home going of a saint, I found this at first a little difficult, but afterwards I realize that she got out of here before the worst is to come, then I smiled, she made it. I'm glad she held onto God's hand until the end. May we, which are left behind have the same testimony.
Much Love!

To the family of Catherine Edwards and the congregation at Apostolic Temple of Truth: I met Catherine when Caltrans hired me as a Toll Collector at the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. I envied Catherine's ability to handle her heavy workload with Peace, Calm, Patience and complete professionalism. Her Humble nature and quiet Charm are the gifts she bestowed on all who were and are fortunate to have known her and be blessed with her presence. You knew right away the strength and conviction of her Faith and Belief in the Lord. My sincere condolences on this great loss. She will be missed but her Glory is truly in Heaven. My prayers to you, Catherine.

Catherine was my CT co-worker and friend. I sat directly across from her. Oh, I would hear her giggle and laugh at times that it made me laugh too and sometimes I didn't even know why, but it was her laughter that just made me get all giggly inside and before you know it she had me laughing it up with her too. We shared CT shop talk, girlie talk and good laughs. She was one of the sweetest, warm and godly woman I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. Sometimes she would show me the school projects she was working on to help her nephew and she enjoyed that. She was such a loving and helpful family member. I miss her not here sitting across from me, but I know she will sit in a better and higher place. The following is an email she had sent to some her friends...

"No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way."

I will forever remember Catherine for her quiet demeanor. My fondest memory of her was to see her every moring (always with a smile on her face). She would be the first person into the office and turn the lights on. I will now turn them on for her which will be an honor. May your memories be as sweet as mine are of her. It was an honor to know her.
