Gloria Agawin Divina
August 23, 1921 - February 3, 2021
Resident of Concord, CA
Gloria, the matriarch of our family for five generations, passed away at the age of 99 years old. She was born in Stockton and raised in San Francisco. Her parents were Eduardo Agawin from the Philippines and Hortencia Apac born in S.F. She is predeceased by her loving husband Fred, her son Gregory, her brother Eddie, sisters Olga and Jewell and half-sister Amelia.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Gloriana (Sheila), Laura, Theresa (Leo) and her sons, Peter (Dolores) and Bernard. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-granchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She touched the lives of so many who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Mom was kind, compassionate, supportive and generous to all, and treated everyone as if they were her own. And not to mention funny and witty...what a great sense of humor. We will truly miss her laughter, her positive demeanor, her kind supporting words, and her just being there for us whenever we needed to talk. She will live on in the many memories of her family. Nana Gloria, I have known you all my life and you were such a memorable part of my childhood. My earliest and fondest memories of you were when we visited your home in San Francisco as a young child, spending our Christmases in the City with you, Lolo Fred, Laura, Theresa and the rest of the Divina fam. You will always be my favorite Great-Aunt and I will really miss your vivacious personality, sense of humor and sharp wit. But most of all, I will miss your hearty and contagious — signature laugh. Absolutely One of a Kind. Rest In Peace, my beautiful Nana Gloria, stay FABULOUS .... and please give Lolo Fred and my Dad the biggest hugs for me Love you always
