Mrs. Lou Ann Trinca, 86, beloved wife of Nereo, passed away September 7, 2018, peacefully in Pleasanton. Lou Ann, or Lou as she was lovingly known, was born in Pittsburg PA but quickly adapted to life in Northern California at an early age. She graduated from Santa Cruz High School and then worked for PG&E in San Francisco. Lou had many adventures before she met and then married the love of her life, Nereo (Nel) Trinca. Lou and Nel enjoyed traveling, taking many trips to Spain and Italy. They also had audience with the Pope… and the Swiss Guard. It was family though that meant the most to them. Lou and her sister Alice owned and operated The Gift Emporium together, and as well as being a devoted wife, sister and friend, Lou was a devoted aunt gifting four generations of nieces and nephews with her knowledge, creativity, sense of adventure, straight forward advice, and her incredible wit.
Lou Ann Trinca is survived by her husband Nereo Trinca, sisters Alice, Rita and Deborah and her brother William. She is preceded in death by her brother Carl, sister Anna, nephew David, brothers-in-law Frank and Mario, and sister-in-law Emily, as well as her best friends Marion and Garret. She is survived by her nieces Charlene, Lori, Nellie, Mariha, Christine, Marianne and Amaia, and nephews David, Ricky, Terry Kelsey, Chris, Justin, Michael, Chasley, Brian, Psymon, Unai, Toby and Jacob. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Eda, and extended family Marisa, Anna Maria, Joanne, Marla, Janine, Cameron, Jillian, and Adrian.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 6:00 p.m. with a Vigil service to follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13 at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, located at 4167 First street in Pleasanton, California.
