Richard Dale Moyer

Resident of Moraga, CA
Richard 'Dick' Moyer died peacefully at his home in Moraga on December 22. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary and his loving daughter, Marcy Perry, spouse (Mark), 5 grandchildren; Trina, Dustin, Ryan Perry, Vikki and Jeffrey Windle and 6 great grandchildren.
Dick was born in Pennsylvania on October 17, 1926. Preceded in death by his father, Forrest, his mother, Florence and Brother, Terence (Barbara) and sister, Joyce (Harold).
Dick graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1950. After graduating from college, he went into business with his father, Forrest Moyer, and brother Terry Moyer. The business was a family affair, later 2 nephews, Steve and John Moyer joined the firm 'Moyer Realty'.
He was a member of the Holy Shepherd Lutheran church of Orinda and Crystal Cathedral. The Jefferson Square shopping center in Napa, between Jefferson and Trancas, was one of Dick's main projects which he managed to his death.
He will be remembered as a kind, loving, and generous man. He loved his family and his friends. Dick will be dearly missed.
Graveside service will be held January 7 at 1pm at Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Rd., Napa, Building 19. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Dear Mary, We are so sorry to hear about Dick. You are in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Each of you have been an inspiration for the almost fifty years of working together for the Putah Creek Ranch Association. He will be missed.
