Resident of Hayward
Elsie known to most as "Abbey" passed away peacefully at her home in Hayward, CA with loved ones. Born January 10, 1928 in South Plainfield, NJ; joined the army at 18 and met and married her one true love. Preceded in death by her husband Domingo Ferreria Jr. in 1999, son Mel Ferreria in 1961. Survived by her children: Francis J. Ferreria "Jerry" and Andrea Ann Ferreria-Judd. 3 grandchildren: Cora Lynn Angel- "Cory", Michael and Kathleen Smith. 4 great-grandchildren: John Domingo Angel, Alyssa, Danielle, David Smith. Brother: Alfred Gubernat Sister: Irene R. PiJak. Elsie lived a rich, full life with love, hope, faith in her heart. Always remember how she enjoyed life and live it. Services June 29th, Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B St, Hayward. Viewing 10 to 11, Funeral Service, 11-12, Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 12:30 PM.

I'm so sorryJerry and Andrea, and the rest of Abbeys family. It's been a few years since I last saw Abbey. And I wish I would had kept in touch. She was one of my Mothers favorite persons. I will say a prayer and light a candle this Sunday at All Saints.

To Abby's family. I so sorry for your loss, I was thinking just last week that I should go by and pay you a visit. I'm sorry that I didn't get to pay my respects to you and the family I was out of town. I will always remember Abby as a very caring person, years ago I used to visit you all the time. You used to watch Matt when he had no school and I had to work. I had always enjoyed visiting and talking to you I just wish that the last 21 years that I hadn't been such a stranger. I know that your not suffering anymore and that your up there with Dom. RIP my friend till we meet again.
