Mary Ann McGee Wuest was born on May 11, 1934, to her loving parents, Anna Leigh McGee and Robert McGee. She went home to our Savior peacefully on April 22, 2021.
Mary Ann was born in Amarillo, Texas. She grew up in Clovis, New Mexico, and married the love of her life, Harold T. Wuest, on September 5, 1954. They had three sons and over the years lived in Bartlesville, OK, Akron, OH, Borger, TX, and São Paulo, Brazil, and Rochester, MI. They retired in Clovis, where they made a wonderful life together, traveled the world, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Mary Ann radiated love, a gentle heart, and was an amazing role model of God's faithful love to her family and all who knew her.
Mary Ann graduated from Clovis High School in 1952. She graduated from Northwest Institute of Technology in MN in 1954. She belonged to Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and visiting with family and friends. Mary Ann was a member of the Cucaracha Girls, a group of dear friends who bought a car together in high school 1951, and remained close friends for the rest of their lives. She served her Lord faithfully, and was a member of W 21st Street Church of Christ. She volunteered at the Hope Center and The Bread of Life for years, helping those who needed shoes, clothes, and prayers.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, her brother Dr. Robert "Bob" McGee, her sons Kurt Wuest and wife Julie, Mark Wuest and wife Laura, and Robert Wuest and wife Amy. Also, she had two granddaughters, Ashley Wuest and Lauren Wuest Lazorko, and grandsons Ellery Wuest, Keith Wuest, Robert Wuest and Ryan Wuest. She had one great grandson, Luke Hunter Lazorko. She also had nieces, nephews, and innumerable beloved friends. While the family is mourning her passing deeply, they lean on the glorious truth that she has seen the face of Jesus, has danced with the angels, and one day the family will be reunited in Heaven.
Ken Cable will officiate the celebration of her life at W 21st Street Church of Christ in Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home in Portales, New Mexico.
