GRANT John (Edinburgh)
Peacefully, at Thorburn Manor Care Home, on Thursday, January 28, 2021, aged 89 years, John, dearly beloved husband of the late Evelyn, much loved Dad to Lesley and Karen, father-in-law to Geoff and the late Ian, brother to Eileen, George and the late Evelyn, special Papa to Ryan and Mark, John to Elliot and Lewis, companion and dear friend to Lynda and his golfing buddies at Gullane and Bramhall Golf Club, distinguished player and captain at Hibernian Football Club and capped for the Scotland National Team (1949-1964). His generous ways, love of life and unique sense of humour will remain with us forever.
Funeral to be held at Warriston Crematorium, Lorimer Chapel, on Tuesday, February 9, at 2 pm, by invitation only due to current COVID restrictions. The service will be live streamed through

Dear John
We so missed not being able to come and see you at Thorburn Manor due to the restrictions however we thought of you often and the great times we had on the golf course at Gullane and of course Kingussie where you introduced me to the Highland experience
