Aurelia SCHATKOWSKI Obituary
On June 16, 2012 Aurelia Schatkowski passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters; Margaret (Leo) Hensel and Barbara, son Walter, grandson Martin and great-granddaughter Lyla. She will also be missed by her sisters; Erna and Lore and sister-in-law Sigrid, as well as family and friends in Germany and Edmonton. Aurelia was predeceased by husband Ewald, sister Anelia and brother Herbert.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5104 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton. Interment will take place at the Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church or to a charity of ones choice.

Although we knew her time was near, we are all still so saddened by Aurelia's
passing. She was a wonderful, vibrant lady who brought joy to everyone. Elda and I will always remember her as such a special lady, and one who overcame many hardships as a young girl growing up in Germany during the war years.May God bless her! Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to all the family.
