Helmer HOLMSTROM Obituary
September 5, 1926 - February 12, 2012
On February 12, 2012, Helmer Holmstrom passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Irene; children, Lynn, Sharon (Dave), Sandi (Peter), Barb (Ross), Darryl (Caren), Douglas (Andrea), Debbie (Mike), and Cindy (Lee); fifteen grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Helmer's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 at the Gerald Zetter Care Centre, 9649 - 71 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gerald Zetter Care Centre.

Irene and family, our thoughts and kindest wishes are with you at this sad time. Will never forget our experience of white water rafting with you and Helmer, a man who wanted to 'live life' right to the end.

Cindy, I am very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I will always remember him as the man who tried to marry/sell me off to Gates! May you find comfort in all of your memories of such a special man.
