Roberta Archer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 3 to Mar. 10, 2006.
ARCHER, Roberta May 1940-2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta May Archer at home on March 1, 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory is her lover, partner and very best friend Brian, her faithful companion Tess along with all those friends who came in contact with her infectious smile, kind heart and generous nature. Also left to mourn her passing are her uncle Alton, cousin Bill and aunt Margaret, sister-in-law Edna, brother-in-law Dave and his wife Charlene, niece Karen and her husband Corey and their children Nathan and Ashley, nephew Bruce and his wife Natalie and their children Stephen, Andrew and Meaghan, nephew Bryce and his wife Laura and their children Laura, Lydia and Paul and nephew Philip and his wife Patricia and their son Daniel. Roberta was predeceased by her mother and father Marjorie and Ray Cabana. A special thank you to Joyce and Wayne Archer whose love and caring were of great comfort to Roberta (she loved you guys as much as any sister could) and thanks also to "Thelma and Louise" for bringing joy and laughter to our home and to Roberta in her final months. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton Alberta, T6G 1Z2 Hainstock's Funeral Home and Crematorium 440-2999 Honoured Provider of Dignity Memorial.
