Vicky YAREMCHUK Obituary
(nee Semotiuk)
May 14, 1933 – June 26, 2018
It is with sorrow in our hearts we announce the passing of Vicky on Tuesday June 26, 2018 at the age of 85 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Ken (Lori) Yaremchuk, daughters Elaine (Tracy) Boyda, and Debra Yaremchuk; grandchildren Jaret Boyda, Caitlin Yaremchuk, and Curtis Yaremchuk; sister Iris Klick, and brothers John (Jeannette) Semotiuk, and Bill (Lynn) Semotiuk. Vicky will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter, three sisters and two brothers.
Vicky was born and raised in Vegreville. She and Peter farmed in the Lavoy area until the 70s, when they moved to Edmonton. Family and friends were important to her; she loved spending time with them. Her cooking and baking will be missed; especially her apple pies.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, with an interment and reception to follow.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mom.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Grey Nuns Hospital.
