Mr. Lake participated in our school's Remembrance Day ceremonies for many years. Our students have a better understanding of some events in the Second World War because of his stories. Mr. Lake was always happy to shake the children's hands and listened carefully to the children. He made them feel very special! His presence at our ceremonies and Soup Day will missed but his memory will not be forgotten!

Mrs Lake: I was a Officer with NLCC C.B. Hill for 10 years and I quite enjoyed your visits to the Hill. I remember a dinner Bill and I attended, that you and Mr Lake also attended and you invited us to sit with you for that dinner, it made the dinner very special to me and I will not forget that night. Mr Lake will be greatly missed at C.B. Hill. I can not make it today to give you a hug, but Bill and our Daughter, Ronilyn, will be there on my behalf. I hope to see you at one of the inspections at C.B. Hill real soon.

Al, will be missed at our Tops meetings for his good sense of humor and for keeping us all on track. His encouragement , and his knowledge of our own battles , has even brought us closer to Al. He will be always remembered and sadly missed at our meetings. His TOPS PALS.

God has opened his arms to you. We will all miss you at the Good Shepherd Church in person but your spirit will always be there. I will miss your humor and being present at the dinner table. You have raised a beautiful family and can be proud of what you have done on earth.

Helen & family!
As the rainbow is a promise of a new and brighter dawn so has God, Our Father, promised that your loved one will live on in a place of light and beauty that He has set aside - a house of many mansions where His loved ones will abide.
Our thoughts are with you!
