GUNTHER, Lorraine Nadja 1962-2009 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorraine, of Edmonton, formerly of Fort Saskatchewan, announces her passing. Left to cherish her many memories are her loving parents Ed and Hanna; brothers Harry (Leah) and Gordon (Susan); nephews Evan and Matthew; niece Grace; other relatives in Germany; special friends Carol and Anna; and her beloved cat Minky. Respecting her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 9909-90 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta with Pastor Vern Vansteenburg officiating. In lieu of flowers donation's in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society (SPCA) or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation. Gordon and Cindy Kadatz directors in care of arrangements.

Dear Hanna, Ed, Harry and Gord,
My deepest condolences on the loss of Lorraine. Know that you are not alone in your sadness and that others are reaching out to you in thought and prayer. I'll always remember good times with Lorraine in high school.
