Dear Shauna,
I had the opportunity to get acquainted with Michel through his Rotarian volunteer service at CapitalCare Grandview. Working with Michel was an absolute thrill, he was concerned for the care of the elderly and had a very lively enthusiasm for the service work that he did. He gave a lot of himself to benefit the residents at CapitalCare Grandview. We were overwhelmed with sadness when we heard of his passing. Please know that he will be missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. On behalf of all the staff and residents/families at CapitalCare Grandview we extend our deepest sympathy.

Dear Shauna and Family;
Please accept our sincere sympathies after hearing of Michels'sudden passing. We will miss his energy and lust for life. He was a hard working man, and his constant endeavors in assisting others will be greatly missed.
As the song says......"Only The Good Die Young"......This is certainly true in Michels' case.

Dear Shauna & family,
When I think of Michel, I think of "presents" in both sense of the word. He always made me think about how great life was right now and his presence was a "gift" to me. He lit up life and his positive thoughts will remain with me forever. God's gain is certainly our loss. I know he will continue to send his words of wisdom from above...so I will pray for him often. My prayers are also with you at this time...

Dear Shauna and Family,
How do you say goodbye to such a great man? He had a face that glowed and a voice you could never forget.
He helped us bring our house to life and now we have a home to raise our beautiful son in. He gave out such inspiration and positivity. I hope he knew how forever grateful we are for who he was and how he helped us make ourselves better people. All our love

I met Michel over 25 years ago when he provided his professional advice for my insurance needs. Since that time he became a trusted professional acquaintance as well a true friend. He never forgot a birthday and always called to see “How things were going”. I was sad to hear that I will not be seeing him again, as he was truly a pleasure to be with.
My deepest condolences go out to Shauna, his family and his circle of friends. We will all miss his smile and good sense of humor.

Dearest Shauna and family,
We were crushed to hear the news. Please accept our most sincere sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers daily. May you gather all the strength and courage you need from the Lord.
Losing Michel must have given you such a tremendous pain in your heart! We feel most blessed that we had spent time together just the previous week. We can still see him laughing and enjoying his diner. He loved, he laughed, he cired but enjoyed life to the fullest. For Clem and I, this is like losing a brother. You both have played a very important role in our lives.
Shauna, we are here for you!
With so much love,

Dear Auntie Shauna, Mark,Carmen,Jack and families
We are so saddened by your untimely loss. Even though we didn't get to spend a lot of time with Michele, he will forever be in our thoughts. You know the saying "Breakfast at Tiffany's" well, Michel gave "Breakfast at Safeway's" a whole new meaning! We will hold that memory very closely to us.

Dear Shauna,
For whatever reason we've lost touch over the years however quite often we've thought of you and Michel and wondered how you both were doing. Just recently we ran into Carmen and, of course, we asked about both of you. We also hoped to reconnect and catch up on the last few years. Cruel fate has taken part of that option away however an important lesson has been learned. Never, ever lose track of good friends as you may not have a second chance.
Our sincerest condolences to all Michel's friends and family. He was truly one of a kind!
Shauna, take care of yourself and allow friends and family to comfort you at this time. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know.

Michel was our closest and very dear Friend for over 38 years. His untimely passing has left both Charmaine and I in total shock and absolute dismay. Michel was larger than life.. and a true Rotarian who believed in helping make the World a better place.

Dear Shauna & family,
Our entire family is so saddened by your untimely loss. We have worked closely with Michel for nearly 15 years through our business but considered him a friend. He liked to drop off little gifts but the most prized one was the watercolour painting of our office on Sparrow Cres. he had done for us - it now hangs in our new location and will always remind us of our long-time friendship. Please accept our condolences.

It is with great sadness that I write this, Michel was one of the most caring, sweet spirited people I have known. Always there to advise, encourage and praise his friends. He truly was unique positive life force. It is unbelievable that he has been taken so suddenly.
Our love and heart felt prayers are with you and your family as well as Michel. We are here for any support you may need, now and always. Stefania Jim and Family
