Dear Carol and family
I first met Loren at the Edmonton farmer's market in the early 90's. We maintained a loose and occasional friendship from that point forward.
I always enjoyed the time I spent with Loren.
My sympathies in your loss.

Hi Adèle,
I was shocked to read about Loren's passing in the Edmonton Journal and to discover he was your brother. I have 3 (actually 9 ) prints that Loren painted in our home. I met Carol and heard about Loren at the Autism Silent Auctions where I always bid madly on his prints.
My deepest condolences,
Juliette (LeFebvre) Inglis ( Physics 20)

My condolences to the Chabot family. Although I had not had contact with Loren during the past years, I have fond memories of time spent together from kindergarten through high school. He was indeed a unique, creative and multi-talented person.

My sympathy to the family. I went to school and university with Loren. Every time I would fly to Edmonton on business and vacation I always tried to visit the market and see Loren. I always left with a number of stories and a painting or two. They are proudly displayed in our home and those of our daughters. Hence, Loren will live on with us.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I had the privelege of having Loren as a brother in law for a number of years.
My heart goes out to his family. He is no longer in pain and flys with the angels.

I met Loren at the Strathcona Farmers'Market in December 2008. I bought one of his beautiful paintings of Whyte Ave and have it displayed in my home here in Ottawa. To me he seemed like a person living his life on his own terms. God Bless You Loren, and my prayers go out to you and your family.

Loren was a client of mine for many years when I managed a travel agency on Whyte Avenue. He was always such a pleasure to deal with and moreover, I am so proud and pleased to have 2 of his prints in my home. He was a wonderful artist and I will think of him every time I look at his work. My sympathies to the family on your loss
