Dear Harke Family,
I learned of Bill's passing with sadness. It was always a pleasure to chat with him and Frieda when I attended services from time to time through the years at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Hay Lakes. Such a friendly, upbeat, positive couple! I find it hard to think of that congregation without Bill. To all who were near and dear to Bill I extend my condolences on your loss. I am remembering Bill and thinking of you (especially Frieda) on this his funeral day.

Aunty Frieda,Jen,Morley,Glenn and Ken, we are thinking of you.

Uncle Bill was such a fine man! His warmth, his laughter and his genuine concern for those around him enriched the lives of so many.

I have so many happy memories of our clan's visits to the farm and my talks with Uncle Bill at the Harke reunions.

Aunt Frieda and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Bill's laugh could always be heard throughout any room he was in and I remember with fondness the 'discussions' that he and my Dad would get into. Sunday afternoon drives with Mom & Dad out to Uncle Bill and Aunty Frieda's farm were always happy times for our family.

It gave me such joy to see Uncle Bill and Aunty Frieda at the readings I've done in Edmonton.
Aunty Frieda, Jen, Morley, Glenn, Ken, I was so sad to hear this news yesterday. Uncle Bill was my godfather and each time I've seen him in recent years, I've been reminded of how blessed I am to be part of this loving Harke tribe. My condolences to all of you. I won't be able to attend the celebration (and what a life worthy of celebrating) but my warm thoughts and prayers will be with you.
Love, Janie and family
