Hilary ALEXANDER Obituary
On April 2, 2014 our Angel, Hilary Ruth Alexander, passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the age of 71.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years John. Her 3 sons Richard (Lauri ) David (Jennifer) and Ken (Suzanne).
Her 9 grandchildren Riauna, Jeena, Johl, Jacob, Rebecca, Kayleigh, Abigail, Amie and John.
Her 2 sisters Barbara (Ian), Christine, and her brother Neil (Angela).
A Celebration of Hilary's life will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Place funeral home. 51 Broadway blvd. Sherwood Park, AB., with Reverend Colleen Sanderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.

Dear John: I only learned of Hilary's passing tonight. I am shocked and saddened and my heart aches for you. How I loved that girl. We worked together for so many years in ICU and whenever she came to do physio on my patients the day always got brighter. We had many, many laughs over all those years. She was never afraid to put on gloves, mask and gown and pitch right in to help in whatever situation needed dealing with. Hilary was as much nurse as she was a physiotherapist. Dear John & Family.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Hilary was an exceptional gal and my memories of her are her laughter and music. When I hear I Psalm sung I think of her. Sorry I can't join you today as you celebrate her life, but I am with you in prayer, as is St. Mary's Ponoka.

Dear John and Family;
I worked with Hilary over 15 years ago at the hospital.I remember her for making a work day fun and her ability to see humour in many situations. She lived her life well. You will have many memories of your life together. My condolences to you and your family.

I was surprised and saddened to hear of Hilary's sudden passing. At times like this we are reminded to enjoy the company of family and friends, as life can be taken without notice.
Hilary's infectious laughter will resonate in my fond memories of her. There will be several cars of friends coming from the Red Deer Hospital to support you in your time of sadness.

John, I was so saddened to hear of Hilary's sudden passing. As you know I worked with her for a number of years, and appreciated her incredible sense of humor and wit. She knew how to light up a room with her presence and no one looked forward to Christmas quite like Hilary! The most precious thing in her life was you John and her family and I know she will continue to watch over you all. My heart goes out to you and your family John in this very difficult time of loss.

Such sincere condolences I offer, at the passing of Hilary. A wonderful example, I was able to witness, of a loving mother to Dave. One who was always keen to jump in with her quick wit and pleasant personality. Truly someone who touched people's lives, just by being herself.
