Into the mystic
Born August 30, 1951, Edmonton - Son (Andrew and Hazel Hall [deceased]), brother (Doug Hall), uncle (Heather Baier, Andrew and Douglas Hall), spouse (Margaret Gibb and Gail Lint), father (Marika, Jesse and Dylan Hall), step-dad (Sarah and Anna Culkin), lover and partner (Susan Babcock) and cherished friend (so many).
Athlete, aesthete, bird-watcher, bon vivant, canoeist, carpenter, coach, dancer, dandy, dog owner, gardener, masseuse, merry- maker, music connoisseur, skier, sommelier, teacher, volleyball player and volunteer. Adventurous, calm, curious, funny, generous, gentle, gracious, handsome, imperfect, impulsive, independent, optimistic, passionate, playful, reckless, romantic, sensual, strong, thoughtful, unabashed, valiant, vital, wild and wise, Bobby chose joy.
He rode the rapids of cancer treatment and grief with grace and courage. Remembered in music and bird-song, fertile soil and winter winds, alpenglow and vast horizons, pounding feet on sports fields and dance floors and good red wine. Died May 23, 2017. Grieved with gratitude for the time we had. A celebration of life will be held in August. [email protected].

Bobby was a good friend of mine. The obit.described him beautifully.He was a kind and gentle soul and I am so glad that we were able to communicate shortly before he passed.
