From infancy through adulthood, she was involved in the Effingham County Methodist Campground and its various activities. She was a faithful servant and volunteer at Vashti Center, the Coastal GA Walk to Emmaus Community and the Effingham Care Center. Her love for Jesus, family, and friends was apparent in the way she lived her life and served in various ministries.

When Francis and Shirley would visit his parents here in Walhalla, they would always visit with his parents to our church. Even after his parents were deceased, they visited on several occasions. Always nice and friendly and our congregation welcomed them ever time with open arms. Our sympathy goes out to Francis and all the family.
