Nohe Gilbert Galindo, 61, was called to be with our Heavenly Father on April 9, 2014 after fighting a long battle of cancer. His remaining days were spent in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends. Nohe proudly served the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. After retirement, he worked for Wyler Industrial Works. He then worked as a United States Immigration Inspector/United States Customs and Border Protection as an Officer and retired after 10 years or service. He was also an active member of the Vietnam Veterans of American, Lucio G. Moreno Chapter 574. Nohe is survived by his loving wife, Laura, their children Cynthia Berumen (David), Nohe Gilberto Galindo Jr. (Angela), Valerie Galindo, Samuel, Jesse, & Kassandra Madrigales, Jessica Mendiola (Jorge), and 11 grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Arsenio Lopez and staff at Texas Oncology, Dr. Chalupa at the VA, the Doctors at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Dr. Imuro, Dr. Craig, Dr. Morang and nurses, CIMA Hospice and Nurse Mary. Visitation will be held at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with Vigil at 6:00pm. Mass will be at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Monday, April 14th at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss with full military honors.
