Amy Louise Murray was born April 10, 1922 in Crowder, Oklahoma to C. Dewey Johnson and Sarah Mabel Johnson. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard E. Murray, Jr. Survived by Leonard Murray (Tina), Margaret Heath (Wiley), Lance Murray (Alice), Brian Murray (Carliss), Amy Van Slyke, Wiley A. Heath, Brandon Murray, Blake Heath, Ross Murray, Evan Murray, Heath Van Slyke, Bryan Van Slyke, Mya Van Slyke, Adah Burks (Ted), Virginia Peters, Dorothy Rose, and beautiful nieces and nephews.
She had a gift for music, having the ability to play by ear, and many other talents. Amy's love for her husband and family took her to post-war Germany, to Alaska, and other post and adventures.
Participating as pallbearers will be: Lance Murray, Brian Murray, Tracy Van Slyke, Blake Heath, Evan Murray, Bryan Van Slyke. Honorary pallbearers: Leonard Murray, Wiley Heath, Wiley A. Heath, Brandon Murray, Ross Murray, Heath Van Slyke, Raul Gomez, Dave Blackshear, Jim Callan.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9:30am at the funeral home's chapel.
