Enos Rodriguez-Vidal passed away on Sunday, July 08, 2018.
Vidal was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on September 03, 1926.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946 and then from 1951-1972, receiving an honorable discharge and retiring as Master Sergeant (E8). He was an instructor for the Hercules Missle System in the Army and a veteran of the Korean War.
He graduated from El Paso Community College in 1979, obtaining a degree in associate arts, graduating top in his class and member of Phi Theta Kappa. He worked for the US Postal Service and then for Commerce Bank retiring in 1989.
Vidal spend countless hours in his garden. Loved singing tangos, telling jokes to family and friends, doing favors for anyone and loved to dance with our mom. A kid at heart, he loved playing with kids.
Vidal leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Rosa Rodriguez; daughter Yvette Warnock; son Enos Rodriguez; son-in-law John Warnock; son-in-law Michael Kain; grandsons, Evan Warnock and Connor Warnock; grand dog Max and grand cat Sable.
Visitation will begin at 12:00pm with a Scripture Service at 1:00pm on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will follow at 2:30pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
