Gerardo Blanco

El Paso - Gerardo Blanco passed away on November 3, 2020.

He was born in Juarez, Mexico, on April 25, 1948, to Everardo Blanco and Carmen Caraveo.

Gerardo was a self-made man who worked hard with pride in the quality of his work his entire life. For Gerardo, life was movement, as demonstrated in his approach to his work, his joy of music, and his passion for dancing.

Gerardo is survived by his children Gerardo Blanco, Veronica Garcia, and his grandchildren Gabriel Blanco, Dante Blanco, and Alec Garcia, who will miss his presence.

His funeral will be held at Crestview Funeral Home. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, only ten close family members will be permitted to attend.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Blanco. My condolences to his family. I remembering working at my parents' properties. My dad really enjoyed his work and enjoyed talking to him when he would work on some projects. My dad would sometimes copy Mr. Blanco's saying when he would say "bueno". Dad would often say "bueno, como dice Gerardo". My prayers for all his family and may he rest in peace.
