Kenyon Behrens Obituary
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Amparo Behrens, and children: Kimberley A. Palafox (Manuel), Kenyon R. Behrens (Marylou), Kristina R. Behrens (Amanda), Kenyon K. Behrens, and Kennedy L. Behrens. His Surviving siblings: John Behrens, Michael Behrens (Idalia), and Ginny Satterwhite (Bud), and five grandchildren.
Kenyon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed. The Memorial services will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday April 21, at La Paz Faith, 1201 N Piedras St, El Paso, TX 79930.

I´m so sorry to about Dr. Behrens. He was our family doctor for several years. He was an awesome physician. He delivered my son. My son was last baby to be delivered Tigua Hospital in July 19,1989.

I am just learning of this and it makes me so very sad. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Behrens many years ago and he was one of the nicest people I've known. I actually enjoyed going to work on the days I worked with him... and I usually didn't enjoy going to work! :)
What a heartbreaking thing to learn of this news today. Rest in peace Dr. Behrens, and much love to your family.

My condolences to the Behrens family when I first move back to El Paso in the seventies , i was looking for a doctor and i found him. He was the most loving caring doctor i knew. He was more then my doctor he was my friend . I left town n I lost touch. I've been back a while now and i needed a doctor, to my surprise i saw his obituary instead. I was really shocked, he was so young, a good man he was. I will miss him. I know he is heaven because there's where the ""ANGELS ""go. Again my condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

I was very privileged to have worked w Kenny before he became a Doctor at Tigua Hospital. He was a great human,compassionate person and had a great sense of humor. It is with great sadness that we say good bye to the greatest doctor ever. Dr Kenny Behrens was more than a doctor, he was a unique person who took care of every single one of his patients with the same care and kindness. My husband and I were his patients for over 30 years, and we feel at a loss because it will be very hard to find a doctor as caring as Dr. Behrens. My husband has great memories of Dr. Behrens when he was studying to be a doctor, and he would come to Tigua Hospital to study with his brother, Dr. J.M. Behrens . Dr.
Kenny Behrens would play with the other interns taking turns pushing one another in the hospital beds. Our condolences and prayers to his wife and children, so they can find comfort in knowing that Dr. Behrens is in heaven with the other angels.

My dear friend Kenny, I learned of your passing a few days ago, and I felt a real loss of a genuine people loving angel had moved on to Heaven. As a pharmaceutical rep back in the 80's I met this tall young energetic loving doctor that put his patients first. When I spoke to this professional, he was so grounded, that I had to remind myself that he was a doctor. He spoke to me as a friend with love and respect, and being a rep was second. He was always kind to me and made time to speak to me. Some of your life advice still lives with me today. I will miss you my friend. May God's blessings be with your family.

Kenny, you were a GREAT and AWESOME DOCTOR to both my mother Consuelo Zermeno and myself. We both had so much faith in you and I will always carry in my heart that you always did everything you could for my mom and how she would always share with all how good you were. My deepest condolences to the family. My heart goes out to you. We have lost such an Angel. As many El Pasoans I and my children had the blessing of being a client/patient of Dr. Behrens from his beginnings at Tigua Hospital to date. He was genuinely a very caring and compassionate Dr that cared about his patients. For anyone that knew him, their world will not be the same with him not in it. When I got West Nile in 2006, Thomason Hospital sent me home twice, Dr. Behrens was out of town. I finally got back to him and he sent a nurse to my house to set me up with IV's and didn't charge a cent as he knew at the time I was not working. He saved my life. He will truly be missed.

I just learned of my beloved, Dr. Behrens passing yesterday as I had not seen him since last year. I am truly heart broken and will forever miss him. He was my doctor for many years. When I had an appointment with him, the wait was long but when he would walk in the room he would apologize for the wait and always received a hug and a smile. He was an excellent doctor and a friend. May he rest in peace without the pain and suffering. My condolences to his family.

Our condolences to all his family. He was my mothers and my doctor for almost 20 years. Their will not be another kind, wonderful doctor as he was. He would always greet us with a big smile and hug even if he was in pain or had just gone thru a procedure. My mom would get so happy when she would see him and talk to her in Spanish. My greatest memory of him will always be when I went to him crying when my mom was in the hospital for a brain injury and was having surgery. He told me everything was to come out fine that she was a strong lady which he was right she came out like nothing had happened to her. I thank you doctor from the bottom of my heart for seeing me without notice. We will greatly miss you but now you are in Heaven with no pain watching over all your patients/friends who love you dearly. Our sweet most humble Doctor Behrens....sir, it is with a heavy heart that I want to express to you our most sincere gratitude for helping me with my children's health care visits and medication when I could not afford to pay. My wife, Irene, and I were patients of Dr. Behrens. Dr. Behrens was more than our physician, more than our friend; Dr. Behrens is like a brother to me and like a father to Irene. We offer our sincere condolences to Dr. Behrens' family. Anyone who was graced by meeting Dr. Behrens know what all men wish they could emulate and what all women wish their sons could have as their mentor. Dr. Behrens would often speak of how much he wished he could spend more time with his "wonderful" wife and his "incredible" children. Dr. Behrens told us how deeply he missed his wife and how he wished he could have been with her at the World Cup. We miss you. We are comforted knowing Dr. Behrens will be the guarding Angel looking over all of us who loved him.
