Obituary Condolences

Robert B. Rodela Sr., 98, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013. He was born in Morenci, Arizona and moved to Ysleta during his youth. He attended Ysleta High School. After high school, he worked with his brother for a short time. Mr. Rodela had also worked for the Railroad and at the Refinery. His dream was to own his own business. During the 1960's he got his dream and established his business that was known as Rodela's Mobil Station where he worked for 20 years. Mr. Rodela was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Mr. Rodela is preceded in death by his wife Maria Gamboa Rodela and is survived by son: Roberto Rodela Jr. (Noemi), daughter: Yolanda Rodela, 3 grandchildren: Robert Rodela III (Sylvia), Marc and Robina Rodela; 4 great grandchildren: Robert Rodela IV, Amanda, Alec, and Jocelyn Rodela, along with numerous loving relatives. The family wishes to thank the staff of Pebble Creek Nursing Center, Dr. Ediberto Soto-Cora, Dr. Ralu Hinojos and Father John Stowe. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Services under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 Carolina Drive 598-3332
