Alicia (a/k/a "Licha") was a professional seamstress and accomplished homemaker. She attended Socorro and El Paso Vocational Schools, where she studied clothing and pattern design. Licha worked for the major El Paso department stores in the 1950s. Our family is very appreciative of Alicia's best friend and cousin Nora, sister-in-laws Maria and Nellie, and others who supplied love and support during her long illness; additionally, neighbors and friends Peggy and Mark who provided spiritual and nutritional nourishment. And to the professionals who applied their skills, talents and dedication caring for Alicia: Dr. Harvey Greenberg, Dr. Gerard Crecca, and Providence emergency Dr. Nguyen and her staff, and to CNAs, Andrea Ramirez and Anna Trujillo.
