PATRICIA SKIPWORTH Obituary

Patricia Ann Skipworth, age 83 residing in Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on May 29, 2017, surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer. Pat was born and raised in El Paso Texas and is survived by her children, Eric Hilton Jr., Beverly Neapolitan, Linda Hilton and Joeseph Bradley Hilton, 6 grandchildren and her two brothers Robert and David Skipworth. Born as Patricia Ann Skipworth, in El Paso, Texas, she was a beautiful debutante who fell in love and married Eric Michael Hilton, the third son of Conrad N. Hilton at the young age of 19. They started a family shortly thereafter and moved around for the hotel business until they settled in Houston, Texas in 1960. Pat was an incredible artist that enjoyed sculpting in different mediums, but really loved the bronze sculpting process and her work can even be found at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. She loved painting and restoring valuable artifacts. Pat also loved nature and every creature in it. She was like a Dr. Doolittle when it came to relating to any animal through her loving and nurturing ways. Pat also enjoyed the game of Bridge where she became a life master in rankings and played in tournaments around the United States. She had a great sense of humor and people loved being around her. She changed the world with just a smile. She will be deeply missed by all those who know her and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at her residence in Katy, Texas - Invitation only.
