Ruth Gregory Rice
Ruth Gregory Rice passed away Friday, June 11, 2021. She was 93.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.
Ruth was born March 30, 1928 in Kentucky to the late Thomas Gregory and Grace Paul. She had a passion for cleaning and was an originator of OCD. She loved to critique any restaurant's cleanliness, but most of all she loved her family. In addition to her parents, four brothers as well as one sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children: Don Rice, Enterprise, AL; Linda Bruneau (Dennis), Lexington, KY; Sharon Rice, Athens, GA; Dave Rice (Elvira), Little Rock AR; Dennis Rice (Cindy), Enterprise, AL; one sister, Barbara Hill, AZ; seven grandchildren; tweleve great-grandchildren.
