Judith Berney Obituary

Judith A. Berney, 75, Harrisburg formerly of Johnstown, passed away on May 16, 2018 after a brief illness. Born on October 20, 1942 in Erie, she was a daughter of Milton B. and Betty (Schaffner) Ackerman.

She was preceded in death by parents and husband William.

She is survived by children William A. married to Joan E. (Cole) of Reading and Lisa B. married to Steven R. Aaron of Harrisburg; and grandchildren Kaitlin and Megan Berney and Rachel and Jacob Aaron.

She was a former member of Beth Sholom Congregation and Rodef Sholom Congregation and a life member of Hadassah. A graduate of Academy High School in Erie, she attended La Salle College, and retired from Zamias Services Inc.

A service will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 20th, at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, Johnstown, Pa. Contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
