Sandra Nitsch Obituary

Sandra L. Nitsch, 72, of Greensburg, formerly of Erie, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born August 14, 1945, in Meadville, daughter of the late Carl and Julia Lawrence.

She was a graduate of Academy High School, in Erie. Sandra was an excellent seamstress. Prior to retirement, she was a bookkeeper for Family Services of Pittsburgh.

She is survived by her husband, Gunther Nitsch; a son, Michael (Laura) Bishop, of Greensburg; five stepchildren: Stephen W. (Erin) Nitsch, of Greensburg, and Suzanne, Martin, Sabrine, and Marcus, all of Austria; and a step-grandson, Elan Nitsch. She is also survived by her best friend, Joyce Hull, of Erie.

i was one of sandys care aids at excela health Westmoreland hospital, who took care of her many times. she had a wonderful spirit and was a joy to take care of. she will be missed dearly. prayers and thoughts with her family.
