Sorry, He was a heck of a nice guy and I enjoyed my few rounds of golf with him. In fact my first round of golf at Kahkwa as a new member was with Art. My prayers are with you.

Nancy,

We share your loss at this time. You knew Art as your beloved spouse, we knew him as our beloved trustee.

We knew how much it meant to him to be a trustee of the college and I am thankful for this past year that I had an opportunity to talk to you so many times, after each mailing when Art would have you call me to tell me that while he was unable to attend a meeting, "he read everything we sent him and he was keeping up!"

We remember a few years back when we had a trustee retreat at Peak n Peek and it was a real effort for Art to attend with his breathing difficulties. But he insisted on being with us and it showed his dedication to the college and we knew then, without a doubt, that his trusteeship meant a lot to him.

We are glad we had him get that photograph taken when we announced his appointment and were pleased to be able to share it with you for his obituary.

He was a distinguished man and every bit a gentleman.

Thank you for having shared him with Mercyhurst.

Your friend and his friend,
