Calvin Dwayne "Manny" Isaiah

1994 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
Calvin Dwayne Isaiah "Manny," 24, of Erie, Pa., went home to be with the King on Thursday, August 30, 2018. He was born on May 19, 1994, son of Angella and Andre Horton and the late Calvin Isaiah, Sr.

Calvin was a member of the Saint James A.M.E. Church's Saturday morning men's prayer group.

Manny graduated from East High School. He was employed at Delta Sonic Car Wash on Peach Street. Manny played little league and high school football for Strong Vincent and Mercyhurst Prep. He was a ride or die Pittsburgh Steelers fan and took "great pleasure" teasing any Cleveland Browns fans. He loved to hang out with friends and family. Manny was outgoing and made friends wherever he went. When he was younger, there would be at least 15 kids outside at 9 a.m. waiting on him. His laughter was infectious and you could hear him from miles away. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and there were many.

Manny was preceded in death by his biological father, Calvin Isaiah, Sr.; maternal grandmothers, Constance Christian and Maxine Isaiah; and his big brothers, Darrin Germany Jr. (Dejay) and Kinshasa Horton (Kenny).

Besides his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Shuntell, Shantale, Aaron, Kennedy, Zuri; two stepbrothers, Vaughn and Khalid; his favorite aunties, Kimberly Marshall, and Debbie Isaiah; and their children, Maurice, Da'Shawna and Raymere; best friends, Martell Crockett, Mitchell Dozier and Damond Carr; and a host of uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at Saint James A.M.E. Church, 236 East 11th Street, on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dale Snyder eulogizing. Interment will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA 16504.
