Frederick Gluck, 95, died Friday, March 22, 2013 at his home in Oldsmar, Florida. Mr. Gluck was born and raised in East Orange, N.J. He graduated from Cooper Union with a degree in electrical engineering, and worked at the Pentagon during World War II. In 1955, he and his family moved to Erie, Pa., where they were long-time members of Congregation Anshe Hesed. He was the president of an electronics manufacturing company for 15 years. In 1970, he acquired a company making components for pipe organs, and developed it into Organ Supply Industries. At his retirement, he remained active on the board. Mr. Gluck is predeceased by his loving wives Pearl and Marian; and by two children, Susan Harkins and Alan Mandell. He is survived by his daughters, Joan Handel, Ann Gluck, and Sue Mandell; and by his grandsons, Perrin and Ben Harkins, Matthew Lesso, and Sam Snyder. He will be missed by all who loved him. I worked with Fred at the Astatic in the late 60's. He was always friendly and accessible- out with the troops, not camped in his office.

We have fond memories of Fred and Pearl and also Marian. We knew them from Erie and also from Chautauqua.
