Dr.Caruso you were not only our family doctor but you were a friend to my family. I will never forget bringing Patrick onto you when he was 5 and stepped on a 3 sided trouble hook in his foot. You got him called down and cut it out. You then reached into your pocket and handed him 5 dollars to go and buy a new hook because he had to cut it out of your foot

I was fortunate to meet him the first day he arrived in Sebring and for him to become my "brother!" I will never forget all the years golfing together, traveling together, dining, dancing, sports events we attended, and yes, even fantasy football! Doc took care of my health from the beginning to just before he collapsed. I have a hole in my heart!

Dear Caruso Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. We've lived in Fla 15 yrs now, but were huge hockey fans when we lived in Erie. If it were not for him and hockey in Erie, my husband and I would have never met. We are thankful for "Doc's"
contribution to the hockey world. He was a great person and will be missed.
Let your memories be your comfort.

As Doc's attorney, we fought many battles in keeping the Erie Blades Hockey Team moving forward in Erie. Without his efforts the current level of hockey and its fan base in Erie would not exist. He will always be remembered as the founder of professional hockey in Erie. I will keep him in my prayers.

Kim, Stephanie, Rocky, Joanne...Please know that my prayers are with you all. I was blessed to have "DOC" as my doctor for 23 of my 40 years. I was a young 17 year old girl playing volleyball at SFCC when I first met him, and years later he became a friend/mentor. He even cared for my two children. I will never forget his jolly laugh and warm smile that greeted me each visit. Thank you for always caring and listening (even when I knew you didn't feel well) "DOC", you will be missed!
