Barbara Faye Knight Harbuck

Barbara Faye Knight Harbuck, 77, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, Alabama.

Born June 4, 1943 in Pine Mountain Valley, Harris County, Georgia, Mrs. Harbuck was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Bessie Kate Newman Knight. Mrs. Harbuck was raised in Plains, Georgia. She was a member of Plains United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Plains High School. She lived in Americus, Georgia for 62 years. She retired from the Georgia Department of Labor after 27 years. She moved to Georgetown, Georgia with her husband upon her retirement. She traveled throughout the world and loved to go camping. Mrs. Harbuck loved her church, family and life.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years: Richard W. Harbuck, Sr. of Georgetown, Georgia; 1 son: Richard (Bridgett) Harbuck, Jr. of Georgetown, Georgia; 2 grandsons: Taylor Harbuck of Cordele, Georgia, Logan Killoway of Port St. Richie, Florida; 2 great grandsons: Kade and Owen Harbuck of Cordele, Georgia; 9 brothers and sisters; 1 brother and sister-in-law: Tim and Sue Harbuck; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
