Charlene Goble

Charlene Goble, 79, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Medical Center Barbour.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 1 P.M., CST, at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiated with Chapman Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Born June 4, 1941 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mrs. Goble was the daughter of the late Ray Bertram and Marie Lee Leroy. Mrs. Goble was retired as a medical receptionist after 41 years with Dr. Philip Woodbury.

Survivors include her children: Greg (Kristy) Howerton of Eufaula, Alabama; Dale (Debbie) Goble of Naples, Florida, Wayne Goble of Columbus, Georgia, Cherylann (David) Patterson of Gadsden, Alabama; 2 grandchildren: Jackson Howerton and Preston Howerton; numerous step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were David Spurlock, Jay Green, Michael Erwin, Jackson Howerton, Preston Howerton, Israel Green.
