Richard Glen Bedsole

Mr. Richard Glen Bedsole, 60, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Friday, February 5, 2021, at Troy Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 3 P.M., at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Caleb Galloway officiating and Chapman Funeral Home directing.

Born January 8, 1961 in Samson, Alabama, Mr. Bedsole was the son of the late Charlie Glen and Evelyn Jeanette Creech Bedsole. Richard enjoyed tinkering outside in his barn, watching Fox News and drinking a cold Diet Coke or Blue Moon with double orange. He was looking forward to the upcoming NASCAR season and he was a loyal Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years: Sonya Bedsole of Eufaula, Alabama; 2 daughters: Jessica (Richard) Praeger of Eufaula, Alabama, Elizabeth (Bryan) Bosse of Suwannee, Georgia; 1 granddaughter: Harper Lee Anne Bosse; 1 brother: Donald Ray Bedsole of Zion Chapel, Alabama; 2 sisters: Glenda (David) Messick of Goshen, Alabama, Brenda (Kenny) Senn of Zion Chapel, Alabama; his mother and father-in-law: Donald (Catherine) Hudson. In addition to his family, Richard is survived by 2 well-loved pups Brody and Lloyd as well as 3 grand dogs.
