HANOVER Dora Jean McCauley, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at her home following a period of declining health due to dementia. Born on March 8, 1937, in Mabie, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ina Reed Arbogast, and wife of Jack Lee McCauley, who died in 2007. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kurtis McCauley; four brothers, Walter, Lloyd, and Harold Arbogast, and Robert Thompson; and three sisters, Edna Thompson, Mary Twist, and Ethel Lantz. She retired from Hanover Pen Corporation in 2002 following 15 years of service. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Littlestown, where she served many years working in the children's church and will be remembered as the greeter at the door. She ministered to others through her special gifts of cards and hugs. Survivors include a son, Greg McCauley and his wife, Tonya of Spring Grove; two daughters, Gail Larman, and Faye Esquivel and her husband, Johnny, all of Hanover; six grandchildren, Matthew and Daniele McCauley, Angie Campo and her husband, Joe, and Sydney, Isabela, and Ian Esquivel; and two sisters, Martha Jones of Mabie, W.Va., and Bertie Durham of Davis, W.Va. The funeral will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Bethel Assembly of God, 1125 Frederick Pike, Littlestown, with Pastors Garry Sheaffer and James Ruddy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Dubs Cemetery in Hanover. The family will receive friends at a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover.
