Dorothy L. Stover

HANOVER Dorothy L. (Williams) Stover, 82, passed away on March 16, 2014, at Hanover Hall in Hanover. She was the loving wife of Allen Stover, Jr.; together they shared over 65 years of marriage. Dorothy was born in N. Codorus Township on November 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Stewart and Bessie (Weaver) Williams. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover. In addition to her husband Allen, she is survived by her brother, Robert Williams and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael A. Stover in 1997 and her brothers, Frank, Charles and Richard Williams; and her sister, Betty Guanti. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N Main St Spring Grove with Rev. Terrence McCarthy officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her son at St. Peter Lischey's Church Cemetery in Spring Grove. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
