Pamela A. Alwine

ABBOTTSTOWN Pamela A. (Bennett) Alwine, 58, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of Dennis G. Alwine, her husband of 22 years. Pam was born March 14, 1955, in Erie, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Kravontka) Bennett of Dallastown. Pam was employed by GTE as a service representative for 18 years, and by G&S Foods in Abbottstown as an administrative assistant for 12 years. She adored her grandchildren and loved the miniature schnauzers she and her husband shared together. In addition to her husband and parents, Pam is survived by two sons, Shannon C. Barham and his fiancee, Heather Spotts of York, and Brian J. Barham and his wife, Melissa of Abbottstown; five grandchildren, Cailey, Justice, Hudson, Hunter, and Wyatt; a brother, Ronald Bennett and his wife, Doreen of Birmingham, Ala.; a niece, Alex Bennett of Birmingham, Ala.; and a nephew, Matt Bennett of Birmingham, Ala. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 890 McCosh St., Hanover, on Friday, July 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
