Thomas B. Lawver

HANOVER Thomas B. Lawver, 68, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Gettysburg Lutheran Home. He was the widower of Ida (Golden) Lawver who died February 4, 2008. Born January 29, 1945, in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Donald D. and Hilda A. (Miller) Lawver. Tom served in the U.S. Navy and was owner of Thomas Lawver Masonry. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gettysburg. Tom is survived by son, Jeff Lawver of Randallstown, Md.; daughter, Vicky Lawver of Spring Grove; three sisters, Jane Brumgard of Littlestown; Doris Wills of Clear Springs, Md., and Darlene Hardman of Gettysburg. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Clyde Lawver and sister, Rita Keefer. A memorial service for Tom will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. The service will be held at the First Baptist Church 1015 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg, with Pastor Carl Harris officiating.
