Thomas C. "Sidey" Sidenstricker

NEW OXFORD Thomas C. "Sidey" Sidenstricker, 54, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Shirley L. (Lockamy) Sidenstricker, his wife of 26 years. Thomas was born December 4, 1958, in Hanover, the son of the late Curtis A. and Naomi R. (Rodgers) Sidenstricker. Thomas was employed by TJ Smith Excavating for 20 years, and was a member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, Hanover Eagles, and the Catholic War Veterans in Bonneauville. He loved music and was a musician in a local band for more than 20 years, and he enjoyed camping. In addition to his wife Shirley, Thomas is survived by two daughters, Jan M. Shafer and her husband Richard of Hanover, and Trisha M. Tribby and her husband Jeffry of New Oxford; two sons, Thomas C. Sidenstricker, Jr and his wife Whitney of New Oxford, and Curtis N. Sidenstricker of New Oxford; seven grandchildren, Rusty, Trey, Preston, Danielle, Zachary, Kiera, and Paige; three sisters, Anita Bortner of Hanover, Suzanne Pascoe of Gettysburg, and Lillian Miller of Doylestown; and a brother, Carl Sidenstricker. He was predeceased by two sisters, Doris Nace and Patsy Keeney. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway W., New Oxford, with Pastor Carl Harris officiating. Burial will be in Holtzschwamm Union Cemetery in Thomasville. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memories may be shared at
