HANOVER Stanley W. Dutterer, Jr., 73, entered into God's eternal care Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Harrisburg Hospital. He was the companion of Carol A. Thompson. Born May 8, 1939, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Stanley W. and Erma S. (Strickhouser) Dutterer. He was the companion of Carol A. Thompson. Stan was a 1957 graduate of Hanover High School. He was employed by Hall's Motor Trucking Company for over 25 years as a dispatcher. Stan was also a highly respected P.I.A.A. Official, refereeing high school football, wrestling, baseball, and softball, as well as local college wrestling and softball. Stan was a member of the Hanover Republican Club, the Hanover Home Association, Hanover Moose Lodge #227, and a long time member of the Hanover Lancer's Drum and Bugle Corps. Stan is survived by a daughter, Shari A. Colehouse of Hanover; a son, Neal A. Dutterer and his companion, Tammy of Hanover; daughter-in-law, Karen M. Dutterer; son-in-law, Gilbert Colehouse, Jr.; eight grandchildren, Danielle R. Brown, Leanne R. Colehouse, Ashley R. Colehouse, Rachel R. Colehouse, Chelsea R. Colehouse, Hannah R. Colehouse, Morgan M. Dutterer, and Molly M. Dutterer; two great-grandchildren, Aizik and Haylie; and a brother, Wayne E. Dutterer of Hope Mills, N.C. Funeral services to celebrate and remember Stanley will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with the Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
