Marcile Woelfel was one of the most welcoming, gracious, and kind individuals I have ever had the pleasure to know. I met her and Julian October 2014 at The Pink House in Wellsville, New York where I shared an article I published on their residence. Over the next several years we bonded on two projects, which brought me many times to Dublin, Ohio and Wellsville: documenting Julian's application for membership into the General Society of Mayflower Descendants as a descendant of Governor William Bradford and the publication of a book on The Pink House. Both were successfully completed and our friendship has continued until each passed. I will miss those welcoming hugs and greetings and no longer being able to bring a special chocolate treat for Marcile each visit. A shining light has left this earth but now illuminates the heavens.
