George "Eddie" Ainesworth, age 73, passed away at his home on September 6, 2018.
Eddie was born on July 17, 1945 in Nowata, Oklahoma. His parents were Robert Allen Ainesworth and Mary Ruth Jones.
He was raised in Alluwe, Oklahoma and moved to Independence, Kansas later in his life, where he met his wife, Marilyn Lucille (Breese) Hill, then moving to Parsons. He married Marilyn on June 30, 1999.
Eddie enjoyed working on cars, often staying up late into the night to do so. He also enjoyed playing bingo with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, his two sons, Jimmy Don Ainesworth of Independence, Kansas and Tony Ray Ainesworth of Independence, Kansas, his daughter Eva Smith, his two step-children, which he considered his own, Jeff Brady, married to Gena Mata, of Parsons, Kansas, and Gennie Ainesworth of Parsons. He is also survived by his brothers, Tony Ainesworth of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Joe Ainesworth of Bartlesville, and Robin Ainesworth of Bartlesville, his sisters Dondi Henry of Bartlesville and Tandy Fields of New Field, New Jersey. He also has 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers David Ainesworth, Dennis "Dino" Ainesworth, Marvin Ainesworth, Mike Ainesworth, and Richard Ainesworth, his sisters Bobbie Winters, Benita "Wigi" Black, and Aleta Cathrine Ainesworth.
Eddie was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Oswego, Kansas for cremation.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at a later date.
